What happens if the internet goes down?
Your store server sits inside your restaurant, so registers, handhelds, kitchen tickets and cash keep working. GrillTab card readers keep taking cards, and the payments go through when the connection is back. Online and delivery orders wait safely and come in then too.
Does each location have its own menu, staff and settings?
Yes. Every location has its own staff, PINs, menu, inventory, printers and settings. With the multi-location add-on you can copy a menu and settings from one location to your others in a few taps.
Can I switch from Toast?
Yes. Upload your Toast exports to import your menu and options. Bring your guest list, loyalty points, gift card balances and staff along too, and keep your old sales records in the POS.
Which card processors work with it?
Connect your own account: Stripe and Adyen are built in, and Square, Clover, Dejavoo (TSYS, Fiserv, Heartland, Worldpay, Elavon) and Helcim are also supported. Card money goes straight to you.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. There's no contract and no cancellation fee: pay monthly, or yearly to save up to 15% (unused months refunded if you cancel). Your plan price is locked for 24 months. Plans are billed to the card you sign up with. You can add or remove add-ons at any time.
Do I have to buy your equipment?
The store server is required, and it comes set up for your business. Registers, handhelds, card readers and printers are optional. Network ESC/POS printers and Android devices you already own also work with the GrillTab app.
